This message just now came through. It's crazy it took so long. Scott Johnson is the district leader on Tab North. His email is scottland12@myldsmail.net. Scott has reported to him that Elder Carrington and Elder Dinsdale are loving Tab. I have heard no complaints and he says that the work is going very well. Lots of reactivation and baptisms. I know those missionaries take good care of each other. They eat strange foods and are exposed to new things I'm sure we can't imagine. One thing I know for sure is that the Lord has his eye on these boys. They are doing a service few can do and were called by the Lord because of their diligence, faith and trust in the Lord and because of their obedient nature.
Elder Johnson and Elder Ellis went to Tab South a few weeks ago to find Elder Carrington and Elder Dinsdale a nice place to live. Scot said he loved Tab South. He likes the food there and there is a strong group of members.

 4/10/2016

Hey! Its been q while since I've grouped its difficult to find internet here that allows it oddly enough. I have been called back to abaiang and going on 8 months here it is good way slow when I first white washed it but now it is going smooth. We have found some solid people with the help of the lord who are progressing nicely and some have received their testimonies this week. Baptisms are close. It has been rainy rainy rainy. Sunday got rained out but I was blessed to see the faith of a led active member walk 20 minutes to church under the rain. I was overwhelmed with the spirit. I am now working with my fourth and real companion elder graham I had 2 visa waiters before him. I know the work will progress.
This week my testimony has grown immensely I know that Jesus is the Christ. Two years ago I could say it and now I can feel it. He is the light and path to our father. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ and proclaim it boldly to everyone. I know that someone has walked this way before. He loves me He loves you. In the name of Jesus Christ amen. Love elder scot carrington

P-day on the Beach

This week was rough we experienced some regression in some super awesome people but are continuing to pray hard for them and continue on with high hopes for good things to come. It all made it worth it to see some less active members come back and prepare a little bit more for the priesthood on Sunday. My favorite though was hearing an elderly woman in the farthest north city, about an hour or so bike ride, tell us about her morning of how they weren't going to come to church because it is a far walk for her and since there are are three families there her included her granddaughter who is maybe 5 told her boldly that they should go to church because she was sure that elders would be there to do it and said how Satan wants people to not go to church. It was cute and funny but she said her granddaughter surprised her that morning and gave her the drive to keep pressing forward she did just the same for me. I am so grateful to serve among such great examples and members. Even though it's sometimes rough I remember elder Holland's words that it's because salvation isn't easy. It never was and it neither will it be. If it was never easy for Him how could it or should it be for us. But oh how worth it it will be. In the name of Jesus Christ amen. Love elder Scot

Birthday Celebrating on Ambo with Elder Johnson!

Rockin Weeks

Over the past few weeks a bit has happened last p-day we found some bullets from WWII and walked out to a wrecked WWII boat on the low tide. We've had a bit of rain and we learned the Haka under the rain that is fun! I have learned a lot this week. Patience and attitude are key to the work and for miracles. I have started a goal to more better master these attributes at all times and in all places. We had a couple more rough days but I have seen the Lord's hand in the work. We have a lady named Ram'aua she has been searching for her testimony for a little bit and just wants to be baptized but didn't understand the importance of gaining a testimony first. We explained to her the importance and met back with her a couple other times to help her understand the restoration better. We went to visit her last week and she was sick we felt prompted to explain blessings and how they work, she ended up wanting one. There was a member that had visited her later on and she explained to us prior to our next lesson with her that she had recovered. Ram'aua told her that it must have true because it was so powerful and wonderful to her to see the Lord's loving power and grace. Upon our return she told us she was fasting for the truth, I felt the spirit so strong this week she decided it was true and will be baptized this next Saturday.
I know the Lord blesses His children He knows each and every one of us. The Lord knows how to succor and bless us in all situations because He has been there. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. This is Christ's church and He leads it through His prophet Thomas S. Monson. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. When we need help, guidance, or especially a loving hand to give us comfort He is there waiting for us. Be humble, be patient, do it with a good attitude. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
